So, i was just informed that i had not updated this in FOREVER. go figure.
Anyways. here's the update. today was crazy at work, Bethany leaves for seattle tomorrow, aaaaand yep.
Merry Christmas (a day and a few hours late, whatever...)
So I'm a bit late on this post, big deal. I was busy.... Bethany flew out to visit with her mother for break, so i'm here with the rest of the family. As i was waiting for Bethany's plane to land, i found a neat website (http://fboweb.com) which allows you to do live tracking of airplanes. You can actually put this into google earth on your computer and it will automatically track a flight, with airspeed and altitude until landing. Including if it circles the airport to land or not. Its really neat. As i was sitting up on Christmas eve I started thinking about things, and this comic came to mind: http://xkcd.com/361/ . I picked that one because i was actually up at 3:00am simply because of my sleep schedule. So, was I on the good list? Yes. Either that or the 'good at being bad' list... You decide. I got a Roomba from my parents, and its pretty sweet. I set it to run in my bedroom when i went to work today, and upon my arrival i found it stuck in the closet. It knew where its base was, its battery was dieing and it tried to get back, but didnt realize it was actually shutting the door. Upon realizing this, i actually truly felt bad for it. At which point i realized i was doing about the same thing as feeling bad for a hammer when it missed a nail. This realization made me, in turn, feel dumb.

So Appalachian is on their way to another National Championship bid. That definitely makes me very very happy! Their 55-35 victory last night over Richmond was hard fought, but our QB still is a miracle runner, finding space where there really is none. The championship game will be next Friday night, 8:00pm on ESPN2.
In other news, look at the top, I've got a Tech Help section posted. This is for Windows XP (possibly Vista, no idea, never ran it, never will...) and it is the process that i followed 80% of the time in my time at tech support in Boone.

HOLY CRAP GODADDY DID SOMETHING RIGHT!!!!
So, apparently godaddy isn't quite as dumb as i thought, as it has actually allowed me to install a simple instance of Drupal. I'm working out the kinks and getting my gallery stuff back up and running, but for now I have this initial post. YES i will try better to keep up, i'd say once a week minimum.
